Mon, 5/19, from 10:30-12:30, Marsha will teach another FLORAL GLITTERED CARDS class.  Make these 3 beautiful cards for just $10:

TUESDAY TECHNIQUES.  Come in on Tuesdays anytime between 10-5 and learn a new technique and take home your instructions so you can repeat it easily.  Always different.  Just $2 or it's FREE with a $5 or more purchase.

Wed, 5/21, from 1-3, Doug will teach PIANO CARD.  And is it fun! Great for all those musical folks you know, just $7:

 Thurs, 5/22, from 10-4:30, Grace will teach ENCHANTED GARDEN 8" BOXED ALBUM.  This class is actually $65, because it is much larger than what she had planned when our schedule was printed a month ago. and she cuts everything for you.  You just make the box and add the papers and many beautiful embellishments!  This album is created with the brand new Bo Bunny collection, Enchanted Garden.  It's so beautiful!! Only a couple of spaces left to fill, register soon!:

Fri, 5/23, from 6-8, Dianna will be teaching NW STYLE WATERCOLOR CLASS.  Come learn how to get the "watercolored" look using markers!  She is taking a new approach, you'll get to make this plaque, instead of 2 cards, and you'll get to use the new Sizzix 3D flower die, as well.  Just $10, or it's FREE with purchase of any NW stamp over $12:

TUESDAY TECHNIQUES

Wed, 5/28, from 10-4, Grace will teach BOTANNICAL TEA BOXED MINI album.  This is full, sorry. But, if you want to make just the very versatile that you can recreate with other papers, album box, come from 10-12 for just $25:

Thurs, 5/29, from 6-8, Grace will teach SUMMER BLOCKS.  These are a cute home décor item, that is very versatile.  You'll be able to join more classes and make other hang tags for each season, holiday, etc.  It's like a club.  We are showing the Spring version.  You can make the blocks only for $8 or everything for $20.  Such a neat idea.:

HELLO, HAPPY SPRING, HOW ARE YOU?

Here's our first couple of weeks of May class photos.  We have such great instructors, wouldn't you agree?  Lots of fun, for all of us.

Thurs, 5/1, we still have our CRUISIN COLORADO SHOP HOP going on with 17 stores participating in Colorado until Sat., 5/3. If you have missed our 2 emails of the different store's information, please come in and pick up a printed list.  This has been lots of fun for us so far and for many of our customers.  We have Make N Take cards to create for $1 ea.  Please remember to bring your basic tool kit with you.

This afternoon from 1-3, we will hold another OPERATION WRITE HOME workshop.  You get to make giveaway cards for our servicemen overseas to write home on.  Bring your basic kit and use our supplies and scraps. 

Fri, 5/2, from 1-3 we will hold another CSU CARDMAKING workshop.  Same as Operation Write Home, except we'll make cards to donate for the CSU Women's Schorarship cardmaking group.

Sat, 5/3 CRUISIN COLORADO all day 10-5, last day to register for grand prize of $170. total in gift
certificates to the participating stores.  Make cards for $1 ea! 

Mon,. 5/5, from 6-8, Judy will help you create a MOTHER'S DAY STAIRCASE CARD, for just $8 make this beauty:

Wed, 5/7, from 1:00-3:30, Doug will be here to teach his GREENHOUSE 3D CARD.  It's a 3 dimensional card that sits upright.  Bring your quilling tool in your basic kit.  Just $8:

Thurs, 5/8, from 12-4, Grace will teach GATEFOLD BLANK.  You'll learn the basics to making your own larger box of this black chipboard album contained in a box!  Then you can cover it with any paper your heart desires.  Just $28.

Fri, 5/9, from 10:30-12:30, Marsha will teach the 2nd class of FABULOUS PEACOCK cards you can make these 3 sparkly cards for $10. :

Sat, 5/10, from 10:30-12:30, Julia will teach this month's Graphic 45- 3 dimensional frameable work of art: G45 3D SPORTS.  Please bring your stylus kit and mat in your basic kit.  Just so much fun for $8 (returning students of 3D),or $12 (for new students of Julia's).  We sell the stylus kit (for flowers, too) and mat, of course. Great for sports enthusiasts and jocks!

That same afternoon, from 1:30-4:30, Pat will teach another cute album, SIMPLE SUMMER ALBUM.  This will make a great gift, and also you'll be ready for photos of your summer events or a fun get together.  Also bring your Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy for this class. So cute and just $20:

Mon, 5/12, from 1-3, Patsy will teach this month's TEENY TINY CARDS.  You know Patsy, these will be great, but no samples yet, sorry.  Just $7 to make 3 different gift cards and envelopes.

Fri, 5/16, from 6-8, Patsy will teach another TAGS, TAGS, TAGS class.  Learn to use sprays, stamps, stencils, inks in making your own fabulous tags.  Lots of fun, and just $10:

On Sat, 5/17, CARON will be back to teach 2 beautiful cards using Elizabeth Craft Designs and Impression Obsessions. From 10:30-12:30, she'll teach PEELED & GLITTERED BACKGROUNDS. Just $17 for these 2 beautiful glittered cards:

We are pleased to announce 2 fabulous classes taught by Judy, owner and designer of B&J ARTS STAMPS, from New Mex., later in the month, on Sat 5/31.  B&J Art Stamps are only able to come here 2-3 times a year.  They also give their students a fabulous discount on their stamps, inks and embossing powders that they bring with them to sell. The first class is from 10:30-12:30, WATER BATIK & BEADS, using stamps, beads, inks and embossing powders, is just $28 for this beautiful card:

Please remember to bring your basic kit and any other tools needed for particular classes.

 

Please remember to come at least 10 min.early, or earlier so you can shop.  EVERY STUDENT receives a 10% discount on all regular priced purchases (unless already discounted by B&J Art Stamps) either right before or right after your registered class.

 

Please register and pay at least 36 hours ahead of class time, so that the instructor has time to prepare materials for each student. We take check or cash for classes (still trying to hold down our credit card processing fees). You can either come in to register, or call to register and mail a check to us early to hold your spot.

 Remember we really appreciate your using cash or local checks for your purchases! We have been able to stock more merchandise for you to see, since we're spending at lot less on those darn processing fees each month---THANKS so much!

4/11/14 ARTSY CLASS PHOTOS

HELLO.... HELLO SPRING!  Well, at least it will be nice until Sunday, then lots of moisture which we need!

JUST A REMINDER:  CRUISIN COLORADO (our 17 store shop hop) starts APRIL 25 and continues until MAY 3.  When you go into a participating store be sure to sign up for our
GRAND PRIZE (1 winner) of $170 total in gift certificates, for future use at the participating stores!  Each store will have their own different sales, door prizes, and Make N Takes for this event.  We have a listing of the stores involved, including addresses, phone numbers.  Come in and pick one up.  This should be a lot of fun! Be sure to call ahead for their business hours.

Fri, 4/18, from 2-4, Patsy will teach this month's DISTRESS INK TECHNIQUES.  If you've heard about Tim Holtz and his many products, especially his very versatile ink pads, this is the class for you.  You'll learn 6 techniques and have lots of fun!, just $30.

Sat, 4/19, from 10-4:00 ( includes a break for lunch), Grace will teach 12 PAGE GATEFOLD ALBUM.  Just like all of Grace's projects, this one is to die for!  Just $60 for this elegant elaborate small photo album with lots of pockets, and embellishments and it's contained in it's own box:

 Mon, 4/12, from 2-4, Patsy will teach this month's ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUES.  Learn about more Tim Holtz products, alcohol inks and 6 different techniques.  These are also versatile inks for non-porous surfaces such as plastic, acetates, metals, glossy papers.  This class is so fun and enlightening, wear your old clothes and one of our aprons.  Just $30 for 2 full hours:

APRIL ARTSY class photos

HELLO, HAPPY SPRING TO YOU ALL!

Great weather, longer days, so happy.

A reminder to all of you who may not have read our recent email about our CRUISIN COLORADO SHOP HOP.  It will be held starting April 25 and end May 3---2 full weeks to celebrate National Scrapbook Week.  16 other Colorado stores are participating with us.  Each store will have their own sales events, door prizes, and Saturday Make N Takes!  Be sure 2 sign up at each store visited, as each store will provide a $10 store gift certificate, total of $170 in gift certificates given to Only 1 lucky winner in Colorado!  That lucky winner will  be picked from the list of names taken at each store. So visit several stores to have a better chance at winning.  Our latest email had the participating store addresses and phone #'s, or you can get a list from the participating store itself.  This will be such a fun time.  You could make a traveling weekend out of it with your friends!  Call the store to get their driving directions or google the address.  Hope you can join us!

Thurs, 4/3  from 1-3 we will host another OPERATION WRITE HOME WORKSHOP and CSU CARDS WORKSHOP.  Please bring your basic tool kit and help us make cards to donate to these wonderful organizations!  You will use our materials and embellishments.

Fri, 4/4, from 3-5, Pat will teach a fun and easy, bright mini album KEY LIME ALBUM.  It's just $20 for all this, bring scor-tape in your basic kit:

 Sat, 4/5,from 10:30-12:30, Patsy will teach another EMBROIDERY ON PAPER.  You'll learn how to punch out a pattern and embroidery with beautiful thread and make it into a card, just $12:

STYLE CARDS.  Make these 2 Springy, sparkly cards and learn the Northwoods stamps style of water coloring using Tombow markers!.  Just $10 or it's FREE when you purchase a NW stamp of $12 or more!

Having a fun crafty day?  I sure hope so!

  How are you?  We're doing great---especially since we are receiving so many new items like:

Tim Holtz's just released marker spritzers (can be used with any style marker according to Tim), new colors of his distress paints, his new dies---5 different frameworks, ironwork gate, butterfly frenzy, 2 new collections of alcohol inks. 3 new Graphic 45 paper collections, pads and tags and pockets.  New Kaiser Craft, Bo Bunny and Prima paper collections. We're expecting our new Elizabeth Craft Design embossing folders and new Memory Box and Impression Obsession dies,  in the next couple of days, as well!  So many new things, we've had 4 deliveries so far this week, and expecting 3 more! Too many to mention and way too much fun!

3/24, Mon, from 6-8, Patsy will teach a pretty album using new Bo Bunny papers and album cover PRIMROSE ALBUM.  It's just $10 for this class but you must purchase the binder and dividers (at a 10% disc) and finish with the doo dahs in class.

TUESDAY TECHNIQUES

3/26, Wed., from 2-4, Patsy will teach DISTRESS INK TECHNIQUES.  Learn 6 different techniques that Tim Holtz teaches using his very versatile inks, in 48 colors!  This is a full 2hr class, just $30.

 

3/27, Thurs, from 2-4, Julia will teach 7 different ways to use Perfect Pearls Powders, just $15:

 

3/28, Fri, from 6-8, Patsy will teach PEEL-OFF CARDS.  You will make 3 different cards using Elizabeth Crafts peel offs.  You will learn how to apply, paint, and transfer the beautiful peel offs. This class is FREE if you have taken at least 3 other classes during the month of March!  Or you can take it for $10.  No photo, but you can trust that this will be wonderful.

3/29, Sat, from10:30-4:00 (includes lunch break), Sharolyn will teach BUNDLE OF CARDS.  You will get to make 16, count them 16! cards for $35.  Great class to stock up on great cards to use for men or women, any season, any reason!  If you finish those, you can do 5 more bonus cards for just $5, as well. These are beautiful and creative, and limited to 8 students:

 

3/31, Mon, from 2-4, Sharolyn returns to teach TYPOGRAPHY MOVABLE CARDS.  These are so cool, great cutting patterns to learn.  Just $8 for these 2 interesting cards using G45 paper:
