Happy Fall!

What great weather we are having.  I love autumn., how about you?
We have sooooo many new items for you to see!  We have new Elizabeth Craft stickers, micro-fine glitters, her Shimmer Sheets, and sticky tape in 4 sizes!  New Bo Bunny, Graphic 45, Kaiser Craft, Reminisce, and Basic Grey papers, and embellishments.  Lots of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas papers, embellishments, embossing folders, dies, and stamps coming in, all the time.  This is a very fun time of the year for all of us!  So come on in and get those creative juices flowing!  Lots to see and touch.

We'll start with Mon. evening, 9/24 from 6-8pm, Jan will teach us a clever masking technique in her card class  SILHOUETTE MASKING.  For just $16 you will make these 4 beautiful cards using Penny Black stamps:

Tuesday, 9/25 is another TECHNIQUE TUESDAY!  Come in anytime and learn a new quick technique.  It's just $2 for each technique, or FREE  with a $5 or more purchase.  And.....It's different every week!

Wed, 9/26, Julia will help us create these 3 funky cards in STEAMPUNK CARDS, from 6-8pm.  You'll get to make all 3 for just $12, using Graphic 45's Steampunk Debutante papers!  There are lots of details and embellishments on these cards and really fun:

 



Then on Thursday, 9/27, from 6-8pm, Julia will return to teach 7 different ways to use Ranger's Perfect Pearls shimmering powders in PERFECT PEARLS TECHNIQUES.  You will make your own examples and go home with all the instructions, as well, for just $15. it's a great and easy way to add that extra special touch to your projects:

 Fri, 9/28, from 3-5pm, Patsy will teach this month's ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUES.  You will learn 7 different ways to use those brilliant little alcohol inks!  For $32, you will go home with examples and instructions of each (you pick your own colors) and your own bottle of ink.  Wear your old clothes and one of our aprons, as these are stains for use on non-porous surfaces--metals, plastic, acetate, glossy paper, etc.  This a fun, fun class:

 

Then, Fri evening, from 6-8pm, Julia will teach GENTLEMAN'S DIARY CARDS.  These are 2D cards and are so perfect for the gentlemen in your life.  Please bring your paper burnishing tool kit as well as your basic kit.  Make these 2 manly cards for just $8!

On Sat, 9/29 we will have 2 classes.  The first is Nacole's class MINI GIFT CARD SET, from 10:30-12:30, for $12.  Such a sweet adorable gift to create for someone!  This is the cover of the album:

That same Sat afternoon, from 1-4pm, Deb will help us create this beautiful gift set of 3 different sized cards, with envelopes to match.  Learn this box making technique and use it for many projects!
 For just $28, this is what you will make:  This is the front side of the box, closed with the lid on it:

And this is the interior, the box is open showing the 3 different sized cards and envelopes (4 of each size makes an even dozen that you will make!) You'll do some embossing and embellishing, as well.  A wonderful gift (think Christmas, birthday) and a great idea for future gift boxes with other paper collections.  Bring your Score-Pal or Score-Buddy and Scor-tape or red line tape for this class, as well as your basic tool kit.

What an impressive September class schedule we have had with our instructors!  They just keep getting more and more creative.  We've had alot of fun in these classes, as well! 

Please remember to always bring your basic tool kit to each class you take.  Basic tool kit includes:  detail scissors, tape runner, liquid adhesive, pop dots, pencil, ruler, Scor-tape or red line tape, paper piercer, paper distresser, and any other favorite tools.  We do sell these items and much more here at ARTSY.
Please remember to call us to register and pay (or come in to pay) at least 24 hrs ahead of time, so that the instructor has time to prepare for the correct number of students.  Some of these classes fill up quickly, so call us soon.   970  613-1631.
