Yippee Skippee!! Spring (and daylight savings time) is just around the corner and we have the perfect fix to help you get rid of your cabin fever and get ready for SPRING!! Our amazing instructors have some awesome classes lined up for March - you'll learn tons of new techniques, plus we have our first ever 1st Quarter Customer Birthday Party scheduled for March 25th. QUILLED SHAMROCK: Quilling is

NATURE'S SKETCHBOOK BOXED MINI ALBUM: This is Part 2 of Grace’s album class using the
incredibly beautiful Graphic 45 paper and some fabulous embellishments. If
you missed Part 1, please talk to the instructor prior to registering for Part
2 to inquire about availability and feasibility of obtaining a kit. If you attended Part 1 in February, bring

G45 ATC BOX & MINI BOOK: This ATC box
is made with Graphic 45’s newest papers, Portrait of a Lady. It’s simply stunning with its vintage
theme. PLUS, it comes with a mini album

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: A lot of you
must have been missing this because we keep getting requests to bring it
back. Okay - it's back! Stop in anytime on Tuesdays to learn
something new to use on cards or books or page layouts. 3/7, 14, 21, 28.
TEA BAG CLUB – IRIS FOLDS: The fold for
the month of March is the Daisy fold. We
will put these daisies in a beautiful Iris Fold vase. Iris folds and Teabag folds will be made
using Irisierendes origami paper. Please
bring Scotch tape to use with the Iris folds along with your basic kit to
class. With Donna on Tuesday, 3/7 from
1-3pm. $10
CSU CARD GROUP: This
card making group from CSU has decided to call Artsy home to its monthly
gathering. They are a lovely group that
is open to any of Artsy’s customers that wish to join them. They will be
meeting at our store on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. They create handmade cards to sell at various
venues throughout the year. The funds go
towards scholarships for non-traditional students. If you want to create but have enough cards
lying around, consider joining this group or donating finished cards to them. What a great cause! Wednesday, 3/8 from 10:30am – 12:30pm. FREE, but bring your basic kit.
ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUES: Do you want

NORTHWOODS BIRDHOUSE CARD:
We didn’t get a chance to hold this super-cute Northwoods class last month so
we’re offering it this month (yes, we know the dates in the photo are not correct - but it was originally schedule in February). You will learn some stamping tips, some
painting tips and some card creation tips. You will be all tipped out
after you finish this class! Bring your basic kit to class. With Marsha

MINI BOOK CLUB – ST PADDY’S DAY: This class is the 3rd edition of Shana’s year-long
mini book. She said this one didn’t really need a description – it’s St
Patrick’s Day obviously. BUT she did ask
that you bring these Distress Ink colors with you – Scattered Straw and Peeled
Paint, your bottle of Shamrock Stickles, and Wink of Stella Clear pen. And as
always, bring your basic kit to class. With Shana on Saturday, 3/11 from

SISTERHOOD
JOURNALING – FUN WITH THE ALPHABET A-Z: Six
Sunday sessions from 12:30 - 3p with Cherri $60 total, speak with instructor if
you’d like to inquire about availability as space is limited and the sessions
began in January:

This
returning ALTERED ART journaling group resumes January 29, 2017 to April 9,
2017 for six alternating Sundays. Open to new students, limit 12. One time
mentoring class fee of $60. The overall theme will be creating pages for each
letter of the alphabet – A to Z, and the challenge will be to use the “artist
trading card” size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) for image designs. This is a great winter
activity to spend afternoons with creative friends.
Cherri Robb mentors this
lively group where students create their own unique designs, and use their own
color choices and paper along with personal embellishments. Techniques will be
taught each week and Cherri provides individualized design assistance for each
student. Fun and sharing will be enjoyed by all, along with lots of
show-and-tell! Please stop by the store
to read detailed instructions and requirements.
DYE TO ROLL QUILLING: In this quilling class you will learn a new
technique. Using dyes and tight rolled
quilling we can hope for a spring break!
Join Nancy for a light and easy quilling card project. Bring your basic kit and quilling kit to class.

spread out and work on that “UFO” (UnFinished Object)? Or, wanna acquire some new toys at Artsy and
then break into them immediately and be creative? Do you want to be creative with other

G45 NATURE SKETCHBOOK
3D: If you haven’t had a chance to
learn this amazing technique from Julia, you’re missing out! This beautiful paper from Graphic 45 will
surely put you in Spring mode. It’s a stunning technique that you’ll
enjoy learning and utilizing for a long time! Bring your basic kit to
class. With Julia on Saturday, 3/18 from 10-12:30pm. $12 (or $8 for
repeaters)
GELLI PLATE MAKE PRINTS & CREATE CARDS: Love to gelli plate print but then you don't know what
to do with those prints? In the first half of the class, you’ll will create
prints that you can use for card-making.
Then in the second half of the class, you’ll make several cards with
those prints. Julia has designed a lot
of cards - she just couldn't stop! Students will make as many cards as possible
before time runs out. Bring your gelli plate and brayer along with your basic
kit to class. If you already have a collection of prints bring those too. With Julia on Saturday 3/18 from 1-4pm. $24
CALENDAR CARDS W/BINDER: This class was
a fabulous way to start the year and the fun continues! In total, you'll get a card storage binder,
dividers for all 12 months, 24 cards with envelopes and 12 technique tags so
you can remember all of the great things we will be making! This class will be offered on several Sundays
in 2017 - 3/19, 6/11, and 9/17. Bring
your basic kit to class. With Patsy on

HOPPY EASTER POP-UP BOX CARD: We can
celebrate Easter AND Spring with this special Hoppy Easter box card. Join Diane to create your favorite spring
flower garden and we'll add a special Easter bunny to complete the garden. Bring

3/19 from 1-3pm. $10
EMBROIDERY ON PAPER: If
you haven’t tried this cool technique on paper yet, you are missing the boat! Punch a design, stitch the pattern and create
a card. It’s easier than it looks! Plus, it’s the perfect little surprise
element to add texture to your cards or scrapbook pages. Bring your basic kit to class. With Patsy on Wednesday, 3/22 from 10:15am-12:15pm $12
PROJECT CROP!! Plan now and
get registered to crop ‘til you drop for this one evening event. This is open to anyone who wants some fun and
focused time to work on their own specific papercrafting project whether it be
cards or scrapbooking. It will be like
playtime on steroids ‘cuz dinner is included and you can use many of the items
in the Artsy classroom – like the Bigshot, stamps, and other tools. Space is LIMITED to only 11 people so get

EC EASTER CARDS: If you love
Elizabeth Craft, you’ll love this class! You’ll use several of the EC dies to
make fun, whimsical cards including Lucky the Rabbit in felt! Bring your basic kit to class. With Denise on Saturday 3/25 from 10am-1pm. 3/$16
LAYERS OF COLOR CARDS: They’ve arrived!!!
Introducing the new Hero Arts layering stamps and inks! Ever wonder how
these stamps work? In this class you will create 4 cards using the peacock
layering stamp set. Each student will receive their own stamp set to keep as
part of this class. Must bring your own stamping tool like WRMK precision
press, Misti or similar tool. Tools will also be available for purchase (and
remember you get a 10% discount on class day!). Limit 6 students. With Julia on Saturday 3/25 from 10am-1pm. 4/$24 – includes stamp set

CLASS POLICIES
***Classes
start promptly at the time listed.
Please have your lovely buns in the seat and be ready to go! Showing up late is very disruptive to the
class that is already in progress. Plan
ahead for traffic or other things that might slow you down!
If
you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to get into another
class. If you are more than 15 minutes
late, you will forfeit your class fee.
Classes
must be paid for at the time of registration.
You are not considered registered unless a class is paid for which could
affect your seat in those classes with student limits. You may pay with cash, check or use a credit
card with a $2 handling fee. You may
register over the phone and mail in a check or give us a credit card
number.
We
also assume you're taking a class to enjoy a break for a few hours and learn
some cool stuff without interruptions.
That said, we will now begin each class by asking you to turn off your
cell phones or silence them during class.
This will enhance everyone's learnin' and enjoyment of the class at
hand.
