Good Morning Everyone, AND HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

What a beautiful new year so far!  We're having fun at ARTSY, how about you?

Why don't you plan to join us in a couple of classes this month?
 In fact, if you register and pay for 3 classes, you will get a class ABSOLUTELY FREE!  It's Patsy's Monochromatic Cards class on Thurs, Jan 30, from 6-8.  You will make 4 cards (or you can also pay $10, if you don't reach the 3 class limit).  Just scroll down and see how beautiful they are!  It's very easy to take this class for FREE--sign up for 3 more..... what a great deal!

Here's our lineup of classes for the next few weeks:

Mon, 1/14, TEENY TINY CARDS, with Patsy from 2-4.  For just $7 you will make these 2 cards with small envelopes, as well:

 

And that same evening from 4:30-6:30, Susan will come in to help us make these special gifts in WINE BOTTLE BOARDS.  You will make 2 boards, using colors and embellishments of your choice for just $15!  Here are 2 examples:

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY
Come in anytime before 5:00 and learn a new technique, which is different each week, for just $2 or it's FREE if your purchases are at least $5!.  Take home your own sample and instructions.

Wed, 1/16, Patsy will teach this months EMBROIDERY ON PAPER class from 2-4.  You will learn the fine craft of embroidery, for just $12 and you pick your own thread colors:

Thurs, 1/17, from 3-5pm, and the next day (Fri) from 6-8,Sharolyn will teach ELEGANT STASH, and for just $10 you'll get to make this elegant gift box with 7 3 x 3" gift cards inside.  Such a beautiful gift and great techinque to learn to create more gift boxes, as well:

That same evening, from 6-8pm, Julia will teach PERFECT PEARLS TECHNIQUES.  You will learn 7 different ways to use your Perfect Pearls shimmering powders.  It's just $15:

 

On Sat, 1/19 we will have a SPECIAL INSTRUCTOR from Elizabeth Crafts Design.....and
Impression Obsession stamp co., Caron coming to ARTSY to teach 2 classes!

The first class is SHIMMERING JEWELRY, from 10:30-12:30.  You'll get to make a large necklace OR a smaller necklace and earring set, using Elizabeth Craft Designs shimmer sheets and also a card using Elizabeth Craft Designs micro fine glitter, peel off stickers and glitter tape.  This class is $1 and is quite a bargain:

 

And her afternoon class is FABULOUS BACKGROUNDS, from 2-4.  You will get to make several card backgrounds using IMPRESSION OBSESSIONS background stamps.  This class is also $18, some of these images are done with 3 stamps.  You will pick your own ink colors and stamps, really fun!:

 

 

Mon, 1/21, Donna will be back for her 2nd TEA BAG FOLDING class (name has nothing to do with what you will be doing) this month, from 6-8pm and for just $9 you will make all 4 of these beautiful, sparkling mini cards:



Another TECHNIQUE TUESDAY---COME IN AND PLAY!

Wed, 1/23 , from 6-8pm, Donna will return to teach IRIS FOLDING.  In this particular class you will make a beautiful evening dress using ribbon, for just $8.

Thurs, 1/24, from 5:30-7:30, Judi will teach HEART STRINGS.  This is a beautiful card for Valentines day, and a new way of folding and "tying" it together!  Just $8:

Fri, 1/25, Melissa will be here from 4-6 to teach VINTAGE VALENTINES.  You will get to make these 2 cards for $10:

That same day from 6-8, Patsy will hold another SIT N STITCH for $3.  If you have passed the first class, Embroidery on Paper, you can take this class and learn to stitch another pattern!  Too fun!

Sat, 1/26 we will have Julia in the morning from 10-Noon teaching another 3D class LADIES DIARY, for just $12 (or $8 for returning 3D students) you can create this frameable piece of art:

That same afternoon, from 12:30-4, Arta will be here to teachWINTER FAIRIES.  These 2 darling sparkling cards are just $13. PLEASE BRING YOUR COLORED PENCILS FOR THIS CLASS:

Mon, 1/28, Dianna will teach another TOMBOW MARKER TECHNIQUES class from 6-8.  And for just $10 you'll get to learn 7 different techniques using water based markers:

 

Wed, 1/30, from 2-4 OR 6-8 is Patsy's MONOCHROMATIC CARDS, where you get to make 4 cards for either $10, OR for FREE IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR 3 OTHER CLASSES! And here they are:

And Fri, 1/31, we have Deb coming to teach IT'S RAINING HEARTS card from 4-5:30. For just $5 you will learn to make a special folding and cutting technique with this sweet card:

 

 And finally that same evening from 6-8, Deb will also teach 1/2 of this class and Patsy the other half of DAISY PEEL OFF cards.  Just $ 7 for 2 cards.  They will be using the same daisy peel off sticker, but with different coloring techniques.  Deb will be using Elizabeth Crafts Designs micro-fine glitter and tape, which many of you have been interested in learning, since you missed the first couple of classes on this technique:

 

And that completes a very full and creative month of January!

 

Please call 36 hours ahead of class time, so that our instructors will have time to prepare for each student.

 

REMEMBER YOU MUST BRING YOUR VERY OWN BASIC TOOL KIT TO EACH CLASS.  Some classes will also require something in addition, but it will be listed.

 

BASIC TOOL KIT INCLUDES:   detail scissors, tape runner of double stick tape, liquid glue, pop dots, ruler, pencil, paper piercer, paper trimmer, scotch tape, and any favorite tools.  We do sell all of these items at ARTSY, of course.

 

Every paid student gets a 10% discount on regular priced items either right before or right after the class time.  No need to wait for a coupon (like the big box stores), take classes and get your discounts then!

 

We will continue with our clearance items on sale at 50% off original price, and Christmas at 40% off, until Monday, 1/14.  However, no returns on clearance and sale merchandise.
