Wow, what a beautiful snow storm!  We are so fortunate to have had snow Sat.  and will have 60+ degrees by mid- week.  Beautiful Colorado! I so enjoy our state, hope you enjoy it too.

ARTSY WILL BE CELEBRATING OUR 2ND ANNIVERSARY ON SAT, THE 16TH!  2 YEARS!  IT HAS GONE BY SOOOO QUICKLY, BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN HAVING SOOOO MUCH FUN.  WE HAVE ACUMULATED AMAZING CUSTOMERS AND FRIENDS!  AND WE'D LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL BY HAVING A WEEK LONG ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION STARTING THIS SAT, OUR ANNIVERSARY DAY!  COME IN FOR REFRESHMENTS, DOOR PRIZES AND WEEK LONG SPECIALS.  WATCH FOR AN EMAIL LATER THIS WEEK EXPLAINING SOME OF OUR SPECIALS.

Beginning with next Saturday, 3/16, from 10-1, Nacole will teach TROPICANA ALBUM.  It's the perfect photo album for all your island vacation photos.  Please bring scor-tape in your basic tool kit.  This beautiful album is just $20:

That same afternoon, Arta will join us to make these beautiful WINE GIFT TAGS, from 2-4, though these tags are not just for bottles.  You will also need to bring small needle nose pliers(for the jewels) , sore-tape, and your flower burnishing kit.  Just $13 to create these 2 gift tags:

Mon,, 3/18, from 2-4, Deb will help us create another great album, but this time for recipe cards, FRENCH COUNTRY RECIPE BOOK, using Graphic 45's newest collection, French Country.  This book is only $25, lots of pages, front and back.  PLEASE bring 10 copies of your favorite recipe to exchange with the other students.  Bring scor-tape in your basic tool kit:

We will be celebrating  our 2nd anniversary this week, our Tuesday Technique will be a FREE card to make.

Wed, 3/20, from 3:30-5:30, Patsy will teach another EMBROIDERY ON PAPER class.  Learn how to stitch this tulip for just $12, and get all the short cuts and pointers to make stitching easier:

That same evening from 6-8, Patsy will teach this month's ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUES.  You will learn 7 different techniques using Tim Holtz's fabulous alcohol inks and go home with your own samples and instructions.  Just $32 for the class and your own bottle of ink:

 

Thurs, 3/21, from 6-8, Judi will teach BUTTERFLY POP UP CARD.  You'll get to make this fun card for just $6 and then can make many more:

Fri, 3/22, from 2-4, Deb will return to teach NEVER ENDING CARD.  This card just opens and opens and opens. Great cutting technique to learn to make lots more fun cards, just $10:

Sat, 3/23, from 10:30-12:30, Caron ( our rep with Elizabeth Craft Designs Co.) will be here to teach 2 classes.  The first one is DAZZLING BUTTERFLIES, from 10:30-12:30, and for $18, you will get to make these 2 beautiful shimmering cards using Elizabeth Craft Designs shimmer sheets and micro-fine glitters and her beautiful paper dies!: 

Her afternoon class is SHIMMER SHEET JEWELRY, from 2-4, for $18.  You will learn different ways to use Elizabeth Craft Designs shimmer sheets:

Mon, 3/25, from 4-6, Deb and Patsy will teach SCRAPPY CARDS, and you'll get to make these 4 cards for $10!  It's a great way to use up your paper scraps in very creative ways:

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY  Come in anytime between 10 and 5pm and learn the new techique for the week, just $2 or it's FREE if you make a purchase of $5 or more.  Take home your own sample and instructions.

Wed, 3/27, from 3:30-5:30, Patsy will teach this month's DISTRESS INK TECHNIQUES.  You'll learn 7 different techniques in using Tim Holtz's distress ink pads.  Lots of fun, just $32.

That same evening, Patsy will teach PRAIRIE CHIC CARDS, from 6-8 and then again on Fri, 3/29 from 2-4.  You will make these 4 shabby chic cards  with a cowgirl theme for $10, OR IT'S FREE IF YOU HAVE TAKEN 3 OTHER CLASSES AT ARTSY THIS MONTH!

Next, another PLAYING WITH WAX  class on Thurs, 3/28 from 6-8.  You will get to experiment with encaustic waxes, paint and play with them.  We had so much fun in our last class!  This wax leaves a soft lustre to your projects.  Step outside your box, and join us, just $12:

Fri, 3/29, Patsy will hold another SIT N STITCH  class from 6-7:30.  If you have taken Embroidery on Paper, you can then take any Sit n Stitch class to learn to stitch another pattern, just $3

On Sat, 3/30, from 10:30-12:30, Judi will teach a faux watercolor technique in "WATERCOLOR" ARBOR. Learn how to quickly get that "watercolor" look using tombow markers and stamps by Art Impressions.  This is a beautiful example, just $10:

 

 and last but not least--that same Sat afternoon from 1-4, Arta will teach another WINTER FAIRIES  class.  These magical sparkly fairies make beautiful cards, create both of these cards for $13.

You must bring your own basic tool kit to each class. Which should consist of: detail scissors, tape runner, liquid adhesive, ruler, pencil, scor-tape, pop dots, scoring tool, paper cutter (for albums and books), paper piercer, and any other favorite tools.  If you are new to these crafts, Artsy sells all the tools to get you started, .....and also some really cute tool bags for just $5.
