ALCOHOL INK TECHNIQUES:  Do you want some of these but have never used them?  Or maybe don't use them enough?  Attend this class and learn some amazing effects that you can create! Bring your basic kit to class. With Patsy on Wednesday, 8/1 from 10-Noon.   $25

PLAY DAY AT ARTSY:  These days at Artsy are really taking off and feedback has been great!  FREE play days in your Happy Place!  Can’t get better than that!  So, if you’re looking for a place to really spread out and work on that “UFO” (UnFinished Object)?  Or, wanna acquire some new toys at Artsy and then break into them immediately and be creative?  Do you want to be creative with other people?  Bring a friend and play in the Artsy Classroom!  Work on your own projects or let Patsy and Julia find fun things for you to do.  Plus, if you need something or run out, you’re already in the perfect space to get more. It’s starting to catch on so plan now to come in on one or all SIX dates in August from 10am-6pm each day. Bring your basic kit with you as supplies are not included.  Thursday 8/2, Tuesday 8/7, Thursday 8/9, Tuesday 8/14, Thursday 8/16, and Thursday, 8/23.   FREE!  

G45 SPINNER ALBUM - A YEAR OF MEMORIES:  Grace’s class last month was a huge hit!  Last month the class created the Spinner stand only, and this month the classes will focus on creating the albums that go in it.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Grace on Saturday, 8/4 from 10am-2pm.  $20  (If you missed the classes last month, you will have to check with the instructor to see if there will be any other opportunities to take the spinner class in the future.)

CABINET SHADOW BOX CARD:  What a gorgeous shadow box card that features paper from Graphic 45’s “Imagine” collection is combined together with a Spellbinders die to create this beautiful 3D Cabinet card.  It has 6 lacy layers and will lay flat to mail. Bring your basic kit to class.  With Marsha on Saturday, 8/11 from 10am-1pm.  $12

WHIMSICAL JOURNAL PAGES: These whimsical journal pages will delight and amuse!  There are four sessions being offered, each being held on the 2^nd Saturday of the month August – November.  Each session students will complete one journal page; all supplies provided, just bring your standard tool box.  Take one class, or all four ... your choice.  The four pages are on display at the store.  Does not include journal book or cover design; journal is available at $12.99 less class discount. Different mixed media products and techniques will be used in each class. Students can make their pages any color them the like. Open to all skill levels.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Cherri on Saturday, 8/11 from 1-4pm.  $15 per session

EMBROIDERY ON PAPER:  If you haven’t tried this cool technique on paper yet, you are missing the boat!  Punch a design, stitch the pattern and create a card.  It’s easier than it looks!  Plus, it’s the perfect little surprise element to add texture to your cards or scrapbook pages.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Patsy on Wednesday, 8/15 from 2-4pm.  $12 

  

DISTRESS INK TECHNIQUES: Learn some basic and not so basic things to do with these amazing inks!  Bring your basic kit to class. With Patsy on Friday, 8/17 from 2-4pm.   $25

G45 SPINNER ALBUM PAPER CLASS: This is the class that decorates the album you created 2 weeks ago for your G45 Spinner.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Grace on Saturday, 8/18 from 10am-2pm.  $15

STAMPERIA GARDEN JOURNAL:  This fun-filled class is being co-taught by Sue Noroski and Sue Reznik.  It features a lovely garden album using papers from one of the newest Stamperia Paper Collections!  It's sooooo fun-filled that 1 instructor couldn't get it all done!  But don't that intimidate you - you'll receive lots of TLC and attention from them with a class size limit of 6 students.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Sue and Sue on Saturday, 8/25 from 10:30am-3:30pm.  $40  LIMIT of 6. 

ART IMPRESSIONS WATERCOLOR BASICS: Have you struggled with watercoloring and just don’t know what to do??  Well, this is the perfect class for you!  With a few simple tips and tricks, Patsy will turn your frustration into pure FUN!!!  To sweeten the deal, a stamp set is INCLUDED!!  Bring your basic kit.  With Patsy on Tuesday 8/21 from 10am-Noon.   $19

ART DECO CARDS:  We will create 2 Art Deco cards using the Hero Arts Art Deco Thank You Kit. The kit has a stamp set, die and embossing powder. The kit is available only in class. Bring your basic kit to class.  With Julia on Wednesday, 8/22 from 1-3:30pm.  Limit 8.   2/$32 (includes stamp set, die, and embossing powder)

AUTUMN SHADOW BOX:  The Autumn magnetic shadow box is created with all the frills of autumn: pumpkins, corn stalks, wheat, turkeys and even strawberry jam. All the items that you need to create this lovely box will be provided for you. I will be creating a Halloween and a Christmas box in September and November. Patsy still has magnetic shadow boxes available if this is your first seasonal shadow box class. Bring your basic kit to class. With Marsha on Saturday, 8/25 from 10am-2pm.  $20

DEMO DAY!!:  This month our Demo Day is filled with special Eileen Hull die-cutting techniques with Jan Francis, Gel Press techniques with Julia, and Perfect Layer techniques with Patsy.  These demos are free of charge and will totally elevate your skills to the next level!!  There will be Prizes, Popcorn, and lots of Fun during the demo hours.  With Patsy, Julia, and Jan on Saturday, 8/25 from Noon-3pm. FREE!!

KRAFT CARDS: Did you know how many different looks you can create with simple kraft color paper???  We didn’t think so.  Patsy is offering some excellent tips and tricks to you in this class that simply use kraft paper and some awesome doodahs!  Definitely worth taking this one!!  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Patsy on Tuesday, 8/28 from 2-4pm.  4/$16

PRIMARY ELEMENTS MICA POWDERS TECHNIQUES:  Beautiful little powders glittering in a pot.  What happens when you open them and start playing?  Come find out!  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Julia on Wednesday8/29 from 1-3pm.   $15

JUNQUE JOURNALING 101: Interested in journaling but just don't know how to get started?  This class will NOT be making a journal.  We will learn to use papers in different ways to get you started and then keep you creating.  We will be doing some paper engineering in a 6x6 format.  Our focus will be plain sheets and tuck spots.  You will receive a cover and all the inside sheet you will put together in class.  Bring these supplies with you: paper and pen, score board, hole punch, glue and scor-tape.  With Patsy on Friday 8/31 from 10am-Noon   $12

If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to get into another class.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will forfeit your class fee. 

Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.  You are not considered registered unless a class is paid for which could affect your seat in those classes with student limits.  You may pay with cash, check or use a credit card with a $2 handling fee.  You may register over the phone and mail in a check or give us a credit card number. 

We also assume you're taking a class to enjoy a break for a few hours and learn some cool stuff without interruptions.  That said, we will now begin each class by asking you to turn off your cell phones or silence them during class.  This will enhance everyone's learnin' and enjoyment of the class at hand.

AMELIA ROSE ALBUM:  This album features a new paper collection of the same name and is literally full of great techniques and textures. Bring your basic kit to class.  This is a 2-Part class with Denise on Friday, 7/6 from 6-9pm AND Saturday, 7/7 from  10am-4:30pm. $75 

G45 SPINNER - A YEAR OF MEMORIES:  Grace has been a busy bee this spring!  She is offering an EXTREMELY unique Album Class this month and in August It's called A Year of Memories and features a gorgeous spinner stand w/12 specific decorated albums - one for EACH month.  This is truly one of the most incredible classes we have offered...and we have had a lot of incredible classes!  This class creates the Spinner only, decorating the spinner is offered separately in July.  Album class will be offered in August.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Grace on Saturday, 7/7 from 9am-4pm.  $45

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY CARDS:  It’s an assortment of everything Bright and Happy!  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Denise on Sunday, 7/8 from 12:30-3:30pm.    4/$18

OXIDE INK TECHNIQUES II:  If you’re in love with your Distressed Oxide Inks and think you know all the many ways you can use them, well…Julia found a few more to add to your arsenal!  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Julia on Tuesday, 7/10 from 10:30am-12:30pm.  $18

G45 SPINNER PAPER CLASS:  This class will decorate the spinner made on July 7th with the G45 paper.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Grace on Saturday 7/21 from 10am-3pm.  $25

STARRY NIGHT LAWN FAWN CARDS:  Julia is having such a blast with all the NEW Lawn Fawn products – she simply can’t help herself! This class will include a magic slider card, with a starry night theme.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Julia on Saturday, 7/21 from 12:30pm-3:30pm.  4/$20

BEADED JOURNAL:  This journal is created using 49-Market Street Paper, there are 4 spaces left in the class.  Student select from paper packets in Cherri's instructor drawer.  In session one, students with cover seven pages, front and back, and add beaded binding.  During the week between classes, student will cut their detail cut-aparts. In session two, all the design layers will be added, extra paper is provided for pockets and envelopes.  One set of poetry will be provided; however, student may bring their own favorites.  Students must bring UHU glue stick and bone folder, plus a rag to wet to wipe sticky fingers.  This is a 2-part class with Cherri on Sunday, 7/22 from Noon-3:30pm AND on Sunday, 7/29 from Noon-3:30pm, $50

PLAID PARTY CARDS:  Four cards for your favorite plaid hero! Whether you need a quick card for your bow tie clad dad, your flannel rocking nephew, or your lounge loving husband - now you've got the perfect dude card for any occasion. Come into the store and check out the details for yourself.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Shannon on Tuesday, 7/24 from Noon-2:30pm OR on Thursday, 7/26 from 6-8:30pm.  4/$12

 

GARAGE SALE COUSINS CLIPBOARD:  Layers Layers Layers = Fun Fun Fun!  This mixed media clipboard works for all levels of experience. Six products will be used to create this project to hang on the wall, use for notes, or give as a present.  Students must bring their own two oxide ink pads and two blender tools.  Students should select two blues, two greens, two oranges, et cetera.  Example used faded jeans and broken china.  After inking and stamping the background paper and adding gesso and alcohol ink to the clipboard, class will break at 11:30 to let work dry, and resume at 12:30p to embellish.  Instructor provides all other supplies.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Cherri on Saturday, 7/28 from 10:30am-3pm.  $18  LIMIT 12

LITTLE WOMEN ALBUM:  This little book celebrates Louisa M. Alcott's book Little Women.  The beautiful Paper is Graphic 45.  There are seven pages front to back and includes a bookmark, pockets and smaller interior booklets.  For the class you will need a 1/4" hole punch and Distress Inks in pink, blue, black or gray, and a brown. Bring your basic kit to class. With Marsha on Saturday, 7/28 from 10:15am-3:30pm.  $35  LIMIT 6

“CELEBRATE” LAWN FAWN CARDS:  Julia is having so much fun with Lawn Fawn that she is repeating her class from May (yes, we know the date in the photo is not correct for June). Celebrate spring with Lawn Fawn. 4 super cute cards using Lawn Fawn latest releases of stamps and dies to celebrate birthdays, graduation and father’s day. Cards are interactive with shaker, slider and pop up elements. You won’t want to miss this!  Bring your basic kit to class. With Julia on Saturday, 6/2 from 12:30am-3:30pm.  4/$20

TOILET PAPER ROLL TAG BOOK – HOW TO FIND LOST OBJECTS: This class is filled with fun stuff … smash 11 toilet paper rolls, color them with the new Dylusions paint colors, add a background stamp, a bit of stenciling, bling it up with some Tonic Mousse, then a piece of scrap cardstock, followed by layers of goodies … and topped off with Cherri’s 10 favorite rules on “how to find lost objects in your studio (craft table)”. The eleven insert tags are all blank, so students can easily make more cute rules to continue from 11 to 20! All supplies are provided, so just bring your basic tool kit (please include UHU glue stick, CORNER ROUNDER, and paper trimmer). Students can make their tag book any color(s) they like. Fun will be had by all!  With Cherri on Sunday, 6/3 from Noon-3:30pm or on Sunday, 6/10 from Noon-3:30pm, $20

DISTRESS OXIDE INK TECHNIQUES: Learn several techniques using distress oxide inks. These inks are incredible, a fusion of pigment ink and distress ink, unlike any other ink you have used. We will create tags for your easy reference. Bring your basic kit to class.  With Julia on Wednesday, 6/20 from 2-4pm.  $18

LET’S GO SAILING QUILLED CARD:  Use this unique technique to make this adorable sailboat-themed card!  Bring your basic kit and quilling kit to class with you.  With Nancy on Thursday, 6/21 from 1-3pm.  $7

MIXED MEDIA MASTERPIECES: Are you interested in learning how to make a mixed media canvas?  I am cleaning out my crafty hoard and bringing it to class. You choose the size canvas you would like to make and I will teach you how to put it together. Things to bring class would be a photo or any memorabilia that you would like to incorporate into your design. Don’t have that? No worries, I have plenty for you to choose from. This is an all-day class, the size canvas you choose will determine how long it takes to create.  Canvas sizes available: 8x10 $30, 12x12 $35, 11x14 $40, 8x20 $45.  Please indicate which size you would like when registering for the class.  Bring your basic kit to class.  With Julia on Saturday, 6/23 from 10am-4pm.    $30-$45, depending on the canvas size.

SISTERHOOD REUNION:  Calling all Sisterhood Sisters! We just can’t get enough of this!!   Join us for a special reunion potluck lunch with Cherri on Sunday, 6/24 from Noon-2pm.  If you were in the Sisterhood Sessions, you should have already received the more specific details.  If not, please call the store.

STAMPERIA “TIME” CARDS:  This Stamperia Time paper makes timeless memories. These unique time centered cards feature lots of layers with Nouvo brilliant gold crystal drops, real chains and beads.  If possible, students need to bring Vintage Photo ink and Nouvo brilliant gold crystal drops to class to create these timeless beauties of their own along with your basic kit to class. With Marsha on Friday, 6/29 from 12:30-3pm.  4/$20

 

4^TH OF JULY MAGNETIC SHADOW BOX:  Have you ever looked at a shadow box and wanted to decorate it, but wished it could easily be changed out for the new season or holiday?  Your wishes have come true! This new magnetic shadow box can be changed out any time you want to decorate for the new season or holiday.  Shana will be creating a new kit each month to decorate this versatile shadow box.  This month’s class will have a July 4th Theme.  Bring your basic kit to class pop dots, small glue dots, stickles, and clear wink of Stella.  With Shana on Saturday, 6/30 from 10am-4pm.  $20 + cost of shadow box one time (inquire at the store for that cost).

GEL PRESS CARDS - CREATE & MAKE: We will be using a Gel Press to create prints in the first half of the class. In the second half the class we will use those prints to create some cards. You just need to bring your gel press and brayer with your basic kit. If you don’t have either the gel press or the brayer yet, you can purchase one at the store.  With Julia on Saturday, 6/30 from Noon-4pm.  $25 + cost of Press.
