ARTSY'S First Card Challenge:  If you have dropped off your winning card to us, you get to look at all our very creative entries delivered so far.  Challenge has ended, come in now to view our entries until Tues.  You can start picking up your cards on Tues, 9/3.  All entries will be judged by our instructors, not Patsy nor me, by Sat.  Our best wishes to everyone who entered!  You all created a great card! It will be difficult to pick the winner !

Our next challenge: FALL CARD CHALLENGE has already started. It will be shorter in duration this time, ending Sept 14. Get your winner in by Fri, 9/13. This one is easier.....hopefully.  We have just a few kits left, $6.39 ea (includes tax).  And please bring cash or check with you to purchase a kit, thanks!  This is so much fun!  Join in!

Starting with Tues., it's TECHNIQUE TUESDAY.  Come in anytime between 10:00-5:00 and try a new technique, it's different every week.  It's always something that can be used in cards  and scrapbooks, as well.  Take home your own version and instructions to repeat it later, just $2 or FREE with a purchase totaling $5 or more!  It's lots of fun learning.

Wed, 9/4,  Patsy will teach another TAGS TAGS TAGS .  You will make 10 different tags with many different inks, stencils, sprays, and it's too much fun.  Just $10.

 

 

Thurs, 9/5, from 1-3, Sharolyn will teach STAINED GLASS CARDS, just $10 for both of these beautiful cards:

 

 

That same evening, from 6-8, Julia will teach GRAPHIC 45 SEPT/OCT LAYOUTS.  These are always very creative 2  2-pg layouts, using Graphic 45 calendar papers, just $20:

 

 

Fri, 9/6, from 2-4, it's DISTRESS INK TECHNIQUES, just $30. Patsy will teach you all the many techniques using Tim Holtz's Distress Ink pads, and you get your very own pad of ink to take home.  48 colors in his ink collection

 

 

Sat, 9/7, from 10:30-12:30, Patsy will teach COVER A CARD BACKGROUNDS, just $10 to learn how to use Impression Obsessions large background stamps and their Mega Handle that fits the stamps. 

 

That same afternoon, from 1-4, Julia will instruct us in how to make our own DISTRESS INK FOAM HOLDER, with 48 sections to hold 1 foam pad for each ink color.  Just $22:

Fri,9/13, from 6-8, Dianna will teach another coloring in the Northwoods Stamps style class in NORTHWOODS STYLE CARDS.  This class is $10, or it's free if you purchase one of the stamps or the die.  Bring your Tombow markers if you have some, but put your initials on them:

And finally Sat, 9/13 from 10-4, Pat will teach another beautiful album in TRAIL MIX ALBUM, just $55 for all this. Pat has unique ideas for these albums, different ways to make each album different from the last!:

Hello Everyone! 
Hope you are having some fun this summer.  A great way to have even more fun is to attend our great, creative classes!  We always have a great time and learn something new along the way. 

We are slowly getting our CHA orders in...of course some items have not been released as yet.  We hate to wait!  But, something new comes in several times a week.  Come in and see for yourself!  Our customers found lots of ORPHAN items yesterday (single, last-one items) and saved 30% on each!  Lots of items went out the front door.  Now we have room for lots more!  We have special item sales 2-3 times a month, keep track of our calendar for some great bargains on just certain days!

I took a group of ladies down to Pine, CO for an all day workshop with Elizabeth Craft Designs owner and designer, Els, this past Sat.  Boy did we have fun!  Great lunch included, as well.  We created 6 different cards using her shimmer sheets, tape sheets, micro fine silk glitters, and her brand new dies, etc.  What a blast!  Thank you, Els!  Hope to do it again soon.

We are continuing our DIE CLUB.  Anyone who purchases a die for $8.00 or more, becomes a member.  When you purchase at least 12 dies, $8 or more, you will win a new Art Bin magnetic die case,( regularly $16.49), with 3 magnetic pages to keep your dies in!  Wow, a FREE case!  You can purchase more pages, as well.  Come in and join today!

OOOOOH, We finally have our new Big Shot machines to sell.  We've waited so long.  It's so pretty, turquois in color, and with a new larger extended multipurpose platform, making it much easier to run those elongated dies and embossing folders thru it.

I'm sorry, but our class on Thurs night, 8/15 has been cancelled by the instructor, Julia, as they are taking a quickly planned vacation.

Fri, 8/16, from 12-4, Pat will teach SECRET ADMIRER ALBUM using Secret Admirer paper. It's such a beautiful album full of pockets, and different folds and flaps and gold peel offs.  Just $50 for all of this:

That same night from 5-7, Pat will also teach BOHEMIAN MINI ALBUM, just $25 for this smaller and beautiful album with lots of pockets and tabs for photos:

Sat, 8/17, from 10:30-12:30, Judi will teach HANGING BASKET CARD.  Look at the details in this paper hanging flower basket.  It looks just like it's hanging from the arbor against the house.  What a great easy pattern to create again and again for those special "gift" cards, just $10:

That same afternoon, from 2-4, Julia will teach BOHEMIAN 3D, just $12 to learn how to make anything look 3 dimensional, especially using Graphic 45 papers.  It's just $8 for returning students. Please bring your set of paper stylus's and pad with your basic tool kit. This is frame-able art, just add a photo and there you are!:

Mon, 8/19, from 6-8, Sharolyn will teach FLOWERS, FLOWERS, FLOWERS, for just $10 you will get to create these 3 different pretty color blocked cards:

TUESDAY TECHNIQUES.  Come in anytime from 10-5 and do a quick 2-3 min new technique using a myriad of stamps, inks, mists, markers, embossing folders, dies, etc.  You never know until you get here what the new technique will involve, but you get to try it and take home your own sample with instructions.  Just $2 or it's FREE with a purchase of $5 or more.  Always fun and useful for future projects!  Add the technique tag to your stash.


Wed, 8/21, we will hold another CSU CARDMAKING DAY, from 1-3pm.  Bring your basic tool kit to help us out, but we'll provide papers, cardstock, inks, dies, embossing folders for you to create with!  The CSU Cardmaking club creates cards that they then sell at Craft Shows, and use the profits for CSU scholarships for women! So we try to help them with that endeavor each month. Here's your chance to help out.

That same night from 6-8, Patsy will hold another fun, fun TAGS, TAGS, TAGS class, just $10 to create 10 tags of your choice using spray mists, stamps, stencils, inks, stains, etc, and tie them up with fibers and ribbons.  Wear old clothes and one of our aprons.  It's a lot of fun--join us, then you'll have many tags for a quick card,  scrapbook page or for tagging a gift!  Learn a lot in the process, to use again and again.

Thurs, 8/22 we are having another SPECIAL ITEM SALE DAY---ALL DIES REGULARLY PRICED AT $10 OR MORE WILL BE 20% OFF, ALL DAY.  COME IN EARLY FOR BEST SELECTION.  We have a lot of new dies for the upcoming holidays, as well.  These dies also qualify for our DIE CLUB  purchase, if they're $10 or more.

Also on Thurs night, 8/22, Julia will teach her second G45 JULY/AUG LAYOUTS.  For those of you who have started the year long G45 Layouts class, here's your chance to catch up!  Just $20 for 2, 2-pg layouts:

Fri, 8/23 from 2-4, and again on Tues, 8/28 from 6-8, Patsy will help you create BASIC BLACK CARDS.  You'll make 4 similar cards using this technique for just $8, so beautiful and quick to make several to stock up with:

Sat, 8/24, from 10:30-3:30, with a break for lunch, Pat will help you create a wonderful photo box in ISABELLA MEMORY BOX, using Bo Bunny Isabella paper.  This box is too cool!  The sides will actually pull out so you can view your photos easily, as you can see in the 2nd photo.  It will make a wonderful gift for someone special (think special days and holidays, too).  Come learn how to do it for your future projects, just $40.

Mon, 8/26, from 2-4, Patsy will help us create CAS (CLEAN AND SIMPLE) CARDS.  You will make 4 cards (2 of ea) for $6 !  Great for beginners, too. But fast cards for all of us! How cheap, how neat, how quick, how fun!:

Wed, 8/28 from 6-8, Patsy will repeat BASIC BLACK CARDS.

Thurs, 8/29 from 1-3, Sharolyn will teach another STAINED GLASS CARDS.  You will create 2 of these beautiful cards for just $10:

Fri, 8/30, from 6-8, Patsy will teach this months special class COLOR BLOCKED BOTANICAL CARDS, which is FREE if you have taken 3 other classes this month, or make the 4 cards for $10:

Sat, 8/31, from 10:30-12;30, Dianna will teach another FALL NW STYLE(coloring) CARDS class.  You will create 2 different cards using NorthWoods stamps and a Cottage Cutz die and 2 different painting techniques, this is the faux watercolor technique.  So easy and quick, too.  This class is $10, or it's FREE WITH THE PURCHASE OF EITHER OF THESE PARTICULAR STAMPS OR THE LEAF DIE (3 different filigree leaf dies in pkg).

PLEASE ARRIVE 5-10 MIN BEFORE CLASS IS SCHEDULED TO START, SO STUDENTS CAN GET SETTLED IN.  IF you come late, please let us know.  Late students hold up the class, or make the teacher repeat, which can cause  incorrect instructions or hearing incorrectly, which then becomes frustrating for everyone who was here on time, THANKS!
