Starting Wed. May 1--Donna will be here from 6-8 and again on Wed, 5/8, from 2-4, to teach SUNFLOWER FOLD.  This is another Tea Bag technique in folding, and it's just $7 for this beautiful card:

Thurs. 5/2, from 1-3 we are hosting a FREE FOR ALL CARDMAKING session to make cards for the CSU Women's group fund raiser and for OPERATION WRITE HOME, for our service men and women.  Come in anytime between 1-3 to use our supplies, but please bring your basic tool kit with you.  Should be fun, your friends will be here!

Friday and Saturday  May 3 & 4: we are celebrating NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY with a SHOP HOP, which includes these stores:  ARTSY, Scrap-2-It, A Scrappin Place, and Capture, from 10-4 on each day (except for A Scrapppin place will open at noon)   All 4 stores will have a $3 papercraft project for you to make.  Go to all 4 stores, pay and make their project and then sign up.  If you visit and pay at all 4 stores you will be registered to win $60 in gift certificates ($15 at each store)!  You must bring your basic tool kit with scissors, adhesives, pop dots, etc. with you in order to complete the projects.  It will be lots of fun as usual!

Mon, 5/6, Patsy will teach May's version of TEENY TINY cards from 2-4.  Make these 2 special cards with envelopes for just $7:

That same evening from 4-6, Susan will teach WINE EASEL.  Just look at this beautiful 7x4 easel that you will get to create for just $15, using G45 French Country papers...such a nice gift:

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY---come in anytime between 10-5 and learn a new technique for $2 or it is FREE with a purchase of $5 or more!  Something different each week, take home your own sample and instructions.

Thurs, 5/9, Julia will teach another AMAZING DRAGONFLY card class from 6-8.  You will learn the technique of melt art to create this beautiful dragonfly.  Make this large card for $8. limited to 6.

Fri, 5/10 come in from 6-8, Patsy will teach anotherTAGS, TAGS, TAGS class.  So much fun to make these tags anyway you choose using all kinds of sprays, stencils, stamps, ink, ribbons fibers.  Wear your old clothes and one of our aprons, just $10 for 10 tags:

Sat, 5/11, from 10:30-12:30, Julia will teach G45 MAY/JUNE LAYOUTS, just $20 for 4 new pages of your Graphic 45 year long calendar album:

 That same afternoon from 1-4, Pat will be here to teach LITTLE MISS ALBUM.  Such a sweet album with lots of pockets for photos, journaling.  Look how this opens, top open left, bottom open right, so cute for just $22:  Great album, use any style paper, just learn how:

TUESDAY TECHNIQUES

PLEASE NOTE---WE ARE INSTITUTING A NEW POLICY STARTING JUNE 1, 2013 :
 If you are late to any class by 10 minutes or more---YOU MIGHT FORFEIT YOUR CLASS FEE AND GO HOME.  We have had several tardy students these last several months.  It is so very frustrating for the other students and the instructor to start her class on time and then have to go back and repeat the first instructions to late comers.  It is not very nice to do this to others and disrupts the class.  We have had several complaints.  Rather than have  our on-time students decide to not take classes because of tardiness of others, we will have to punish the offenders instead.  We will decide at the time of tardiness whether you get to join in or not, if not, then you will forfeit your payment and go home. If it's a complicated project, you will forfeit, take your kit, whatever has been prepared for you and go home. So--- if you have a problem with being late, it would be best if you get into the habit of leaving at least 15 minutes earlier to get to class.  LOTS OF US LIVE SEVERAL MILES FROM THIS STORE, ALLOW YOURSELF ENOUGH TIME+10 MIN MORE TO GET HERE, IN CASE OF ACCIDENTS, DETOURS, CONSTRUCTION, ETC.
 WE THANK YOU FOR GETTING TO CLASS 10 MIN EARLY, TO GET SETTLED IN.

PLEASE  remember to bring your basic tool kit to every class which should include:  tape runner, liquid adhesive, detail scissors, pop dots, score tool, tweezers, paper piercer, pencil, ruler, paper distresser, scotch tape, stylus, scor-tape or red line tape, and any other tools that the class calls for.

Please call at least 36 hrs before the scheduled class time to register and pay, so that our instructor has time to prepare papers, embellishments for all the students in class.

on Fri, 4/19, from 6-8, Judi will teach MOTHER'S DAY CARD.  How neat is this, you will learn how to assemble this stand up card, a great technique to learn for making unusual cards:  Just $12

Sat, 4/20, from 10-12:30, Pat will come into teach CHICKEN COOP FRAME.  Make this cute wall hanging of the rooster for just $15, please bring duct tape and scor-tape with your basic kit:

 

That same afternoon from 1-4, Deb will teach her last class with us, FIREFLY BOX SET!
For just $12 and you need to buy the 6x6 paper pad Firefly, you will make a beautiful box with 3 different sized cards and envelopes, for a total of 12, using dies and stamps.  Please bring either red line tape or scor-tape with your basic kit. What a beautiful gift:

Mon, 4/22, from 6-8 Judi will instruct us in making these beautiful 3D cards using G45 French Country paper.  For just $10 you will get to create these 2 cards:

Wed, 4/24, Julia will hold another PERFECT PEARL TECHNIQUE session.  From 6-8 and for $15 you will learn how to use those beautiful Perfect Pearl powders in 7 different techniques:

On Thurs 4/25 we have a couple of classes.  First from 3-5, Sharolyn will come back to teach another LITTLE BIRDIE CARDS.  For just $10 you will get to use embossing folders and dies to create all 4 cards:  Aren't these tooo cute!

That same evening, from 6-8 Patsy will teach DISTRESS PAINT CARDS.  You will get to use the brand new Tim Holtz Distress Paints!  Make these 4 cards for $10, or it is FREE, but only if you have paid for 3 other classes in April:

Fri, 4/26 from 4-6 Patsy will teach EMBROIDERY ON PAPER where you will learn to stitch this tulip on cardstock, for $12 then that same evening from 6-8, she will teach SIT N STITCH where you will learn how to stitch another pattern for $3.  You must have taken the EMBROIDERY ON PAPER class sometime in the past to be able to come for the Sit N Stitch.

Sat,4/27 we have 2 classes as usual.  First is Patsy's PETROGLYPH CARDS from 10:30-12:30.  You'll get to learn a new technique and make 4 cards for $10:

That same afternoon, from 1-4 Pat will show us how to create this TOOL BOX.  This tool box is a good size-11"x 5" and contains pockets and 2 small photo albums that you will also make.  This is such a great guys gift!  Think about Father's Day, too.  Just $30 for everything:

 

We have another Sunday 4/28 class:  BEYOND DISTRESS INKS techniques, with Patsy from 1-4, just $15.  Add to your repertoire of knowledge concerning Tim Holtz Distress Inks and the many different ways to use them!

Mon, 4/29, from 6-8 Dianna will teach another HEARTFELT CARDS, make 4 cards for $10, two of which will be using Flower Soft!

Please remember to always bring your basic tool kit consisting of detail scissors, scor-tape, pencil, ruler, adhesives including tape runner and liquid, pop dots, paper piercer, bone folder or score board, and any other favorite tools.
